Alhamdulillah, through the generous support of donors and partners, Barakah Charity Sri Lanka continues to invest in education, technology and community development across Sri Lanka.
Al-Nooriya Primary School
Construction of a new 2-classroom building funded by Barakah Charity Sri Lanka to address the long-standing shortage of classrooms faced by students.
Al-Husainiya Vidyalayam
A new 2-classroom school building constructed with the support of Barakah Charity Sri Lanka. Classroom furniture was also provided.
Al-Askar Vidyalayam
A new 2-classroom school building providing improved learning facilities for students, together with classroom furniture.
Al-Nooriya Junior School
Construction of additional classrooms to expand learning facilities for students.
Al-Furqan Vidyalayam
A 2-classroom school building constructed with Barakah Charity support and officially opened by Brother Mohamed Ajami, CEO of Swiss Barakah Charity.
An-Noor Vidyalayam
Following an assessment of the school’s needs, Barakah Charity initiated construction of two new classrooms to support students.
Ash-Safa Vidyalayam
Construction of two additional classrooms to improve educational facilities for students.
Al-Taj Maha Vidyalayam
Construction of a new 2-classroom building to provide additional learning space for students.
Kinniya National Ladies’ College
A major educational infrastructure project providing expanded facilities for students of Kinniya National Ladies’ College.
IT Centre, Al-Husainiya School
A dedicated IT Centre developed to provide students with improved access to technology and digital learning opportunities.
Auditorium, Al-Hamra Vidyalayam
Development of an auditorium to support educational programmes, school events, cultural activities, meetings and community programmes.
Barakah Multi Complex
A multi-purpose facility developed to support community and development activities. The building was officially opened by Brother Mohamed Ajami, CEO of Swiss Barakah Charity.
Auditorium, Al-Hira Muslim Girls’ School
Development of a dedicated auditorium to support educational programmes, cultural activities, school events and community gatherings.
Scholarship Programme
Scholarship assistance was provided to students facing financial difficulties in continuing their education. The programme has supported financially disadvantaged students since 2023.
