Removing financial barriers to academic excellence.
In the wake of Sri Lanka's economic hardship, hundreds of talented children were forced to drop out of school due to inability to afford basic bus fares, uniform fabrics, and textbook fees. Barakah Charity established this scholarship endowment in 2023.
On 18 January 2025, Barakah disbursed new financial and educational assistance packages to 73 verified scholars across the district, ensuring every student has the tools and dignified backing to excel in national examinations.
